A Place of Refuge: An Evening with Tobias Jones

What does it actually mean to live in a community? Can you turn the Sermon on the Mount into a manifesto for life?

Six years ago, Tobias Jones, author of the acclaimed Utopian Dreams: In Search of a Good Life and A Place of Refuge: An Experiment in Communal Living, set up a woodland sanctuary with his family for people in a crisis and need - bereavement, depression, addiction or homelessness. 'A Place of Refuge' is the story of the result.

Tobias spoke at Theos on 5th October on life in community, of what it says about the way we will live today, and of what it means to follow Christ’s words even when they present a challenge. You can here his talk here:
